Hi, I'm Patrick LeBlanc. I'm a New Brunswick based artist.

I am a Riverview-based multidisciplinary artist working across painting, drawing, digital illustration, and photography. My artistic foundation began with traditional media at NSCAD, followed by a BFA in Film Studies from Concordia University. 

My current practice is rooted in the landscapes of southeast New Brunswick, where I use my own photos as the starting point. Rather than seeking replication, I focus on translating the feelings, atmospheres, and subjective memories of these scenes into expressive paintings, exploring the difference between the camera’s objective rendering of reality and the artist’s interpretion. 

While I currently utilize creative skills professionally as a marketing and communications coordinator, I am actively investing concentrated effort into transitioning my artistic practice into a full-time career. My professional drive also includes an aspiration to develop a New Brunswick-based business venture dedicated to elevating and supporting the success of local artists.
